... llegamos a Norwich

¡Hola chicos!

Hi everybody!

After 2 weeks without internet (we looked like wifi addicts in any place we went) we finally have internet at home! So now we can start with our semanal posts abour our life in UK.

The first days have been really busy, buying stuff for the house, walking and discovering the city... We already realize how beautiful is this medieval city, with a lot of nice places, where you can find a church in any street, shops that open from monday to sunday and lots of pubs where you can try really nice beers.

Here you have some photos of the city, we hope when you see them, you would like to come and visit us :)

And to finish, here you have us enjoying a typical fish and chips and a nice beer.

Un abrazo,

Hugs,

Después de un gran verano...

¡Hola chicos!

Hi everybody!

After the summer time, here we are again with our blog! It has been a really intense summer, go back home, family, friends, the king's abdication, enjoy again the village big days, a trip to meet good friends... Definitely, we didn't stop during the summer!

Here you have some photos of our summer.

We just arrived to Spain when we had a really good friends wedding, Edu and Diana.

Y luego...

And then, Valderrobres and Romanos party days!!!

We also have time to visit Maria del Mar and Carlos, we met them in Taipei, and after almost 2 years, it was like the first time. We went to Malaga with them and we enjoyed 4 days of gastronomic holidays.

And of course, we had a lot of meeting before leaving, thanks to all, family and friends, we can feel that even we are far away, when we go back to Spain, nothing change.

To finish this post, a small map of our new city. This time we are in Great Britain (God save the Queen), a beautiful city called Norwich, with a lot of curious places. We hope we can adapt quickly to the pints of beer ;) and we promise new posts about our life here.

Un abrazo,

Hugs,

Bye Bye Taiwan!

Hi all again!!

After a while we are here again in the blog to write a small farewell post. We have enjoyed Taiwan a lot for more than two years, and we hope we got Taiwan closer to each of you who read our blog.

To start with the post, a general overview of Taipei, our home during this time, with its more recognizable landmark: the Taipei 101

Here we are in this photo just arrived to Taipei, in one of our first turistic experiences in the Zoo. We look so young and naive... hehe. Soon after arriving we got our first pet to be with us in our life in Taipei: Sheldon. He was so cute and small!

Asia is different in many ways, and at the beginning we found a lot of 'asian situations' we would never imagined to experience. Here we selected some of them, like an exhibition with 100 doraemons, a restaurant where you sit and eat in a toilet, a fancy 'panda-like' dress, tools to make your smile nicer... A full lot of unexpected surprises!

But with time you get used to everything (but stinky tofu), and you enjoy the pleasures Taiwan offers. We enjoyed barbecued lobster, the famous taiwanese sausages, snorkeling in Kenting...

We also have had time to do some tourism in this area of the world, no room for complaints. We have visited amazing places like Hong Kong, with its famous Skyline, and some places we never thought we were going to be able to visit, like Sydney (but we did not found Wallabee street...). And we also visited Japan, with an awesome trip to Tokyo.

Not only abroad, we have also done interior tourism, visiting Kaoshiung, Yanmingshan,  Kenting, Alishan, Penghu, Shifen, Fulong... and many other beautiful hidden places that are in this island. And we could not go before setting up our own Skylantern!

We have also had lots of visits. Thanks a lot to all of you who crossed the world just to visit us: parents, brothers and friends. We hope you enjoyed your visits as much as we did, and anywhere we are you will have a home in our place.

This two years we also have had time to make good friends here in Taiwan. We have gone for dinner, for beers, on trips to Yilan, Tainan and Taichung, we have gone the Dragon Boat Festival, to the Skylantern Festival, to the KTV, to the laser-tag... We will never forget the experiences shared during this two years, we will miss you all, and we will keep in touch!!

Esto es todo por ahora desde Taiwan.

This is all by now from Taiwan.

Un abrazo

Hugs

Fin de semana en Yilan. Weekend in Yilan.

¡Hola chicos!

Hi everybody!

After few days really busy, chinese test, packing... We have had a weekend trip! In our last trip in Taiwan we visited Yilan and Luodong, two cities in the east part of the island. We had a really good weekend with good friends.

Primera casa, y primer grupo :)
First house, and first group :)

First day breakfast: pig's ear and tongue, a kind of black sausage, shark, noodles...
We eat a lot and it was just 9 am!

Go to the car! But this is an 8 people car and we are 10... it doesn't matter, we can fit in!

¡Foto de grupo! ¡Corre Isabel que no sales!
Group photo! Isabel run or you are not in the photo!

The second house was amazing... modern architecture in the middle of Taiwan.

Segunda casa, segundo grupo con nuevas incorporaciones.
Second house, second group with new friends.

And after breakfast... we were eaten by fish! Really difficult to stand... tickles... then you can see a video.

And for lunch a chicken cooked in a vertical tradicional oven... thanks Ruya for your profesional "cut".

Before going back to Taipei we entered a traditional arts center... Beautiful streets with a lot of shops and live performances.

Taiwanese puppets, they do tv dramas and have thousands of merchandising.

Algunos de los espectáculos.
Some performances.

Before finishing today's post we want to show you some videos, one of the fireworks that we launched in front of the house, and other 2 that have been produced by Cassie, one at home and the other in the eating feet fish place.
