Hi everyone!
Como muchos ya sabéis hemos estado en... Tokyo!!!! 6 días de turismo sin parar que os queremos intentar resumir en varios posts... todavía no sabemos cuantos jejeje, pero avisamos, tenemos unas 700 fotos... Así que la selección es dura.
As you know we went to ... Tokyo!!!! 6 days non stop that we will try to show you in some posts... we still don't know how many jejeje, but we have around 700 photos, so the selection is going to be tough.
Lo primero que visitamos fue el Palacio Imperial, bueno, los jardines, porque el emperador y su familia siguen viviendo allí y el acceso al palacio está prohibido. Allí fue donde vimos los primeros cerezos en flor. Aquí van algunas fotos.
The first thing we visited was the Imperial Palace, well, the gardens only because the emperor and his family still live there and nobody can enter. In the gardens we saw the first sakuras. Here you have some photos.
Después nos fuimos a pasear por la zona de Ginza, una zona de tiendas de alto postín y con un montón de restaurantes, donde entramos en un edifico de 8 plantas de Sony, todo un lugar de culto para amantes de Play Station, y vimos tiendas de confección de kimonos. Para comer disfrutamos de un rico sushi... mmm... sushiiiiiiii
After we went to Ginza area, a shopping area with famous brands and a lot of restaurants, where we entered a Sony building of 8 floors, perfect place for Play Station fans, and we saw some kimono shops. For lunch we had a really good sushi... mmm... sushiiiiiiii
Después de comer nos fuimos a ver la Torre de Tokyo, bastante parecida a la Torre Eiffel pero en blanco y rojo... donde subimos para ver las vistas de Tokyo. Por desgracia una neblina en el horizonte nos impidió ver el Monte Fuji, pero debería estar en el medio de la foto que os enseñamos.
After lunch we went to the Tokyo Tower, quite similar to the Eiffel Tower but in red and white... We went up to the top to see the views. Unfortunately we couldn´t see the Mt. Fuji, but it should be in the middle of the photo.
Cerca de la Torre de Tokyo entramos en el Templo Zojoji, impresionante. Los templos japoneses son sobrios, sencillos pero a la vez desprenden una magia especial...
Después de este templo nos fuimos a ver el templo de Sengaku-ji, lugar especial porque contiene las tumbas de los 47 samuráis. Detrás de estas tumbas hay una bonita historia japonesa que queremos resumiros: Básicamente un aspirante a shogun (rango máximo militar en el Japón imperial) fue injustamente condenado a muerte por una disputa con otro aspirante que quedó impune. Los 47 samuráis que seguían al aspirante a shogun intentaron recuperar el honor de su jefe y decidieron consumar su venganza matando al otro aspirante. Después ellos mimos se hicieron el harakiri y fueron enterrados juntos en este templo.
Near the Tokyo Tower we visited the Zojoji Temple, amazing. Japanese temples are sober and simple but they have a special magic...
After that we went to visit Sengaku-ji Temple, special place because have the 47 samurai tombs. After that tombs there is a nice story: An aspirant to shogun (maximun militar range in the imperial Japan) was unfairly condem to death because a fight with other candidate, that had no punishment. The 47 samurais that follow the aspirant tried to recover the honor so they took revenge killing the other candidate. After that they decided to do harakiri to themselves and they where burried in the temple.
Y ya para terminar el día nos fuimos a Roppongi Hills, zona de gran actividad nocturna, coronada por una gran torre, la Mori Tower, y donde disfrutamos de unos ricos Ramen (fideos japoneses con sopa y otro condimentos, en nuestro caso cerdo, algas y huevo)
And to finish the day we went to Roppongi Hills, night area of Tokyo, with a big famous tower, the Mori Tower, and where we enjoyed japanese Ramen (japanese dish with noodles, soup and other things, in our case pork, seaweed and egg)
Un poco largo pero esperamos que os haya gustado tanto como lo disfrutamos nosotros en su momento. En pocos días pondremos el siguiente :)
A little bit long but we hope that you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed in Tokyo. In few days we will put next one :)
